Russell Simmons has only just announced his split from Melissa George blaming it on 'the difficulty of long-distance relationships.'
And it seems that Melissa, 35, has already pretty swiftly moved on.
The sultry Australian actress raised eyebrows after she was seen locked in a passionate kiss with a fellow party-goer at Sunday's Bafta after-party.
At the time it wasn't known that she had split from the millionaire music mogul - but it seems she was keen to celebrate her new-found single status.
Dressed in a slinky wet-look Victoria Beckham dress, the actress had earlier put in a stunning appearance on the red carpet.
And following the show she was one of the first on the dancefloor, and was soon locked in conversation with a dark-haired man.
The two were soon seen in a passionate embrace as nominees such as Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis and Michael Fassbender danced nearby.
Melissa's YSL clad companion confirmed his name as Jean David, and said he was a member of the production team for hit film The Artist.
