And over the weekend Mel Gibson was seen attending Azita Ghanizada’s birthday party, fuelling rumours the couple are more than good friends.
Mel, 55, was seen arriving at the bash at LA’s Palihouse Hotel dressed in a pair of smart jeans and a black jacket.
The Braveheart actor didn’t emerge until the early hours of the morning but was not seen with the Alphas actress outside the venue.
Other guests were seen attending the bash laden with gifts, birthday balloons and tasty treats for Azita, who turned 32-years-old on November 17th.
Two weeks ago Mel and Azita enjoyed an intimate dinner at L’Emitage Hotel and were seen sharing a kiss and a warm embrace at the end of the evening.

Mel Gibson has split from his Russian girlfriend a year after his wife of 29 years filed for divorce because of his affair with the much younger woman, it was revealed last night.

The 54-year-old ‘Braveheart’ star is said to have ‘drifted apart’ from Oksana Grigorieva, 39, soon after she gave birth to their five-month-old daughter, Lucia.

‘They are both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They are still friends and they will both raise Lucia together,’ a close friend of the couple told People magazine.
