Kate Winslet and boyfriend Ned Rocknroll made their public debut as a couple at Golden Globe awards

Kate, 36, and 33-year-old Ned made their public debut at the Golden Globe awards on Sunday night where Kate won Best Actress in a miniseries for her role in Mildred Pierce.
Kate took Ned as her guest to the prestigious awards show where she posed for photographers on the red carpet, looking stunning in a monochrome dress, she made her way to the table where Ned, the nephew of Sir Richard Branson, was waiting for her
And when Winslet was named Best Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role in Mildred Pierce, she was given a congratulatory kiss from her beau.

They've been enjoying a low-key romance since getting together on Necker Island in August.
But as Ned RocknRoll was seen accompanying his girlfriend Kate Winslet to Los Angeles ahead of the Golden Globes, perhaps the couple are preparing to go public.
With Winslet up for Best Actress - Musical or Comedy for Carnage at Sunday's Globes, fans will be wondering if she arrives on the red carpet solo.
The couple were spotted flying into LAX airport on Friday.
Looking casually dressed in jeans and sunglasses, Winslet, 36, and RocKNRoll, 33, held hands as they strolled through the arrivals lounge.
Since being introduced to Sir Richard Branson's nephew over the summer, Winslet has been infatuated with him.
Winslet had flown to Branson's Caribbean island with model boyfriend Louis Dowler, who she previously hadn't been seen with since nine months previously.

Looks like she's part of the family! Kate Winslet was on the arm of her new boyfriend, Ned Rocknroll, at Monday's grand opening of his Uncle Richard Branson's commercial spaceport in New Mexico.The couple, who have been linked since meeting in August at Branson's Necker Island home, were photographed at the opening ceremony, during which Branson repelled from a balcony and swigged champagne, the Associated Press reports.

The British billionaire was launching Spaceport America in a remote New Mexico desert. It's the site from which he plans to stage his commercial space tourism venture, Virgin Galactic, which employs Ned.Winslet, 35, and Rocknroll, who legally changed his name from Ned Abel Smith, 33, also have been spotted together in London.

Ned, whose one thing going for him is that he’s Sir Richard Branson’s nephew, and Kate have been dating since September, when they were at Necker Island and that fire broke out and Kate became a superhero. Turns out Kate used her superpowers to save Branson’s mother, but in the chaos and confusion, she somehow lost her marbles.

 Since that fateful weekend, Kate kicked her model boyfriend to the curb and began dating Ned. Kate and Ned’s relationship has moved fast and furiously because not only are they looking to shack up, but marriage may soon be in the cards. Too bad he still has to get a divorce from his estranged wife.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate and Ned are house-hunting. Kate currently shares a NYC apartment with ex-husband Sam Mendes, but she now wants her own place with Rocknroll.

“Kate and Ned have barely spent a day apart since they met,” said a friend. “They have been travelling together recently but are hoping to find a base that they can call home.

“Sam isn’t keen on them moving into the New York place, which they own jointly, so Kate is looking for something else, either in the States or Britain.”

 But Star magazine (via Cele|Bitchy) is taking it one step further, and an insider claims that they are “soulmates” and friends are expecting an engagement announcement soon.

“Kate says she’s found her soulmate,” reveals the insider, who also noted that Kate’s daughter, Mia, 11, and son Joe, 7,  are wild about Ned. “She wants to be his wife, and he’s keen on the idea.”

“Keen” doesn’t exactly translate to super-enthusiastic, no? Maybe because a dude who filled out a form and registered to change his name from Abel Smith to Ned Rocknroll doesn’t sound like the most romantic of guys. I wish I could get past the name. Sure, Ned could be sweet, delightful, donate to charities, feed and clothe the homeless, but I just don’t expect that from a guy who goes from Smith to WTF. He is still married and he changed his moniker from normal to bizarro — a real winner. Just… no, Kate. NO.
