Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald Are Engaged

After meeting in March, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald embarked upon a whirlwind romance – and now they've taken the next step.
The Breaking Dawn star, 23, and her American Idol alum beau, 26, are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Posing together at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, the couple showed off a sparkler on Reed's left ring finger as she told E!, "He's the one."

And to those who are concerned that the pair may be moving too fast, the actress – who is reportedly house hunting with McDonald – has an answer.

"I love him and I don't care," Reed told PEOPLE in May.

"I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."

Cheryl Burke: Maksim Is Like a Brother to Me

Cheryl Burke and her fellow Dancing with the Stars castmate Maksim Chmerkovskiy are very close. But they’re not dating, Burke says – despite rumors of romance.

The pro dancers were spotted getting cozy in Las Vegas recently, where they visited with other friends. But looks can be deceiving.

"We have a good time," Burke, 27, told PEOPLE while celebrating her belated birthday at Palazzo Las Vegas's Azure Luxury Pool. "We've known each other since we were kids. We have that brother and sister relationship."

Burke is aware of the rumors and she even heard about her "wild" weekend with her castmate. "I woke up to a lot of phone calls," she said, "but we're just friends."

Chmerkovskiy echoed the sentiment, telling PEOPLE at the All the Right Moves Summer Invitational in New York City: "Cheryl and I are great friends. We have been for many years."

He even recently took to Twitter to address and poke fun at the gossip: "Enough with the rumors!" he wrote. "Elvis is really dead, Loch Ness monster is a myth and Cheryl & I are just friends!"

But Chmerkovskiy knows that relationship rumors and speculation are a part of being a dancer in the spotlight.

"As hard as it is to deal with at times," he said, "it would be worse if [people] didn’t care. So I guess you have to embrace it."

I grew up without a father around. I have certain memories of him taking me to my first jazz concert and giving me my first basketball as a Christmas present. But he left when I was two years old.

And even though my sister and I were lucky enough to be raised by a wonderful mother and caring grandparents, I always felt his absence and wondered what it would have been like if he had been a greater presence in my life. I still do. It is perhaps for this reason that fatherhood is so important to me, and why I've tried so hard to be there for my own children.

That's not to say I've always been a perfect dad. I haven't. When Malia and Sasha were younger, work kept me away from home more than it should have. At times, the burden of raising our two daughters has fallen too heavily on Michelle. During the campaign, not a day went by that I didn't wish I could spend more time with the family I love more than anything else in the world.

But through my own experiences, and my continued efforts to be a better father, I have learned something over the years about what children need most from their parents.

More Evidence Marlo Hampton Is a New Housewife!

It looks like there’s no doubt that Marlo Hampton is the newest member of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Bravo’s been keeping mum about persistent rumors that the fiancée of Chicago Bears star Charles Grant had joined the cast for Season 2, so Wetpaint tracked Marlo down through her store, the Red Carpet Boutique in Atlanta’s Perimeter Mall.
Well, it turns out that the store is temporarily closed and calls are being forwarded straight to Marlo’s cell phone. When we left a message about Housewives, Marlo’s publicist called us back, so we asked if Marlo had indeed made the cut.
“Contractually, I can’t confirm or deny that right now,” the rep told us. Then we wondered how long Marlo’s store had been closed. “It’s been closed for about a month.”
Then we wondered why? Laughing, the rep replied, “Marlo’s working on some other projects, which I can’t go into right now.”
OK, Bravo. Time to make that announcement!

Kim Zolciak and fiance Kroy Biermann welcomed a bouncing baby boy on Monday. The little guy is the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's first child with Biermann, a defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons.

"@biermann71 and I are happy to announce the birth of our son today Kroy Jagger Biermann is healthy & beautiful We are so in love!” Kim tweeted.

She later added, "Thank you for all ur sweet tweets! Kroy, the girls and I are so in love with baby KJ!"

Zolciak, 32, confessed to Life & Style just weeks ago that she was looking forward to her due date. "This pregnancy has kicked my butt, and now I'm at the stage where I'm uncomfortable."

Despite feeling like she was "getting fatter," she admitted that her beau, 25, still found her "sexy" and "makes me feel beautiful." Awww.

Fans have been following the couple since they met last August at a charity event featured on a "Housewives" episode and announced their engagement in January. Their growing family also includes Kim's two daughters from a previous relationship; Brielle, 13, and Ariana, 9.
